LIVING MODEL
Drawing is firstly a question of observation.
Nothing is more educative than a session of sketching from a living model.
Placing the drawing in its format, spot the geometric shapes, find the good proportions, search for the points of reference, do what we see and not what we know, become aware of the voids, only holding to the essentials, not holding to the details, leave some parts...
A good sketch has, before all else, to be alive.
During this course you'll learn to master all these elements using your right brain, the imaginative, irrational, abstract, to detach yourself from the real thanks to exercises designe to let go.
Session of posing of 10, 5 or 2 minutes and moving poses.
Equipment used :
format : drawing paper 55x65 minimuim, white or coloured, kraft, newspaper, etc.
Tools : charcoal, leads, black stone, chalk, ink, bamboo, feather, watercolour, pastel, acrylic.
Duration : Session of 3h in the morning and 2h during the afternoon.
